We recently found this set of 6 handmade, wood carved, and hand painted wood cats. They are in great condition. There is very, very little paint loss, just a tiny amount at the points of the ears but barely any that we can see. The most paint loss at the ear tips is on the lying down cat and that is pictured. We really do not see any other paint loss. The owner was a Laurel Burch collector and we believe these are authentic 1980’s Laurel Burch carved cats. There are no stickers or tags to prove this and we are going strictly on the word of the seller and the fact that she had several other Laurel Burch items and was well acquainted with Laurel Burch. We also researched online and believe these are the real deal! This lot of cats includes: * Stretched out cat- 8 1/2” long- burgundy, red, lavender, and green. Bottom well covered in paint. * Large lion- 8” long and 5 3/4” tall- black with pinks, purples, and yellow. Bottom well covered in paint. * Blank cat with red and grey accents and red bow tie. He’s a grumpy looking cat;-). He’s 4 7/8” tall. The bottom is not completely covered with paint. * Tall, slender black cat with purple, red, green, and yellow accents. She measures 6 5/8” tall. * Smaller yellow lion with gold stripes and pink, blue, and yellow accents. He’s 5 7/8” long and 3 7/8” tall. His feet are not completely covered with paint. *Small yellow kitty with a plum colored tail and peach, green, and purple accents. Her bottom is not completely covered with paint. We represent our items to the best of our ability in photos and descriptions. Please look at our photos carefully and read our description completely. Also, we trust the original owner of these cats when she said they are genuine Laurel Burch cats but because there are no labels to prove it. We have researched online and they appear to be genuine to us. Please ask any and all questions prior to buying from us.
