Description

Hi there, I'm selling a really beautiful vintage pottery cat. He's a brilliant orange colour with a purple tail. Possibly a ginger tom? He's in great condition, with no chips or cracks. The shape and design are very similar to the great American designer Laurel Burch. Surely inspired by her. But he is unsigned, with no pottery mark. I have seen a similar one identified as Poole pottery, but i'm not sure that's right. Please see the photos and feel free to ask any questions. He stands 8 inches tall, from his toes to the tips of his ears. 7 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. And he weighs only 425 grams, so it's not a fat cat. He's actually rather delicate and light. I don't think he goes outside much, no deep winter fur? I feel he's a happy house cat, loving the warmth. He's ready to sit on a shelf and settle into his new loving home...
