Description

Up for sale is a GT Zaskar LE, size small. When I acquired it, I was told it was custom made by GT for Alison Dunlop, who is a world-champion cyclist. The frame is stamped “CUSTOM” on the top tube. The flat GT plate on the back of the top tube denotes the frame is made in USA. The frame came with the Cane Creek headset, Easton EA50 stem, Litespeed Ti handlebars, Rockshox SID Blackbox fork w/ remote lockout, Shimano XTR crankset, M952 bottom bracket, XTR right and left shifters/brake levers & XTR front and rear derailleurs. It also came with the front XT brake although I don’t believe Alison Dunlop raced with the XT Brake. The remaining parts were acquired to rebuild the bike. The headset and wheel bearings have been completely rebuilt. The build was finished with a rear XTR brake, Rockshox suspension seatpost, WTB Silverado saddle, and with some Shimano SPD/platform pedals. The wheelset has Zero Lite rims laced with aero spokes to Shimano hubs and XT skewers. The following parts are brand new: Kenda Kadre Tires, Terevail tubes, Shimano HG93 chain, Shimano cables, Shimano housing (black) & Jagwire housing (yellow), Velo Handlz grips and NOS Aztec brake pads. The frame does have a dent on the right side of the down tube and significant scratches from Chain rub/suck, as well as other imperfections. I have pictured this but it seems structurally sound. The fork has not been rebuilt although functions well, and the bottom bracket could use replacing. Message me for more pictures or with any questions, as this is a final sale, no returns. Thanks!
