Description: Sakyamuni The Buddha in the center seated on a lotus throne within an elaborate shrine is Shakyamuni. He sits cross-legged and makes the bhumisparsha mudra, the right hand points downward in the gesture that calls the earth to witness his moment of enlightenment. The left hand holds a patra or dish filled with healing nectar. There is a hole at the bottom of the statue to insert a parchment prayer or wish.( pic #2) In the center of his chest is a crystal Pranic quartz diamond which amplifies prayers and receptive guidance.
